At AvonXtreme Paradise Fun Park Venue Properties NFP, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact on the youth of Rockford, Illinois. As part of our initiative to foster confidence and competence in young learners, we have designed a unique program aimed at improving the reading skills of students in 1st to 3rd grade in District 205. This initiative, born from over 50 years of experiences in the community, recognizes that a significant gap exists in the support structure for our students, one that if filled, could propel our children to academic success and personal growth.

Our proposal for a private non-profit organization to take on this responsibility stems from the urgent need to provide a unified catalyst that supports the education and development of Rockford's future leaders. We are determined to create a lasting and impactful educational model that integrates core values that can shape the lives of these children, from their early years all the way through to graduation.

The Rationale Behind Our Approach

Our approach is based on a simple but powerful idea: to provide young students with the right tools to build a solid foundation for their academic success, while instilling a sense of self-worth and confidence. We understand that for children to succeed, they need more than just basic academic knowledge—they need guidance and mentorship to help them internalize values that will guide them through life.

Our program focuses on imparting essential values such as hygiene, confidence, competence, self-worth, ethical skills, and empathy. By integrating these values into the educational experience, we help students grow not only in their academic abilities but also in their personal development.
